Rangers protect wildlife from poaching and mitigate human wildlife conflict, but there’s so much more to the role that is less visible, but no less valuable! Today is #WorldRangerDay and we are proud to bring you on patrol in Kenya with photographer @djflore and some of the #TeamLioness rangers who are also mothers and leaders in community-led conservation. They uniquely understand both the interests of local communities and the challenges they face and help bring about sustainable change for animals, people, and the landscape they call home!
